A Generous Family Needs Housing Help by Christmas!
Nina Jones and her family have always been generous with their time, their love, and their resources whenever their friends, family or church have needed them. Most recently, Nina spent months by the bedside of her friend, Connie, a young mother dying of cancer. Nina took care of Connie and her two young children, sacrificing her time and potential earnings to make sure that Connie and her children felt loved and safe in Connie’s final days.
Now the Jones family has suffered some recent financial setbacks and they are in dire need of funds to obtain a rental home in the DC suburbs. They are temporarily in very cramped and expensive living arrangements that are putting them even further behind. They have already been approved for a rental home. If they can obtain $1900 for a security deposit in the next few days, they will be able to move their family into a secure home by Christmas and begin to rebuild their lives. Mr. Jones works two jobs now and is doing his best to provide everything his large family needs. Nina is an expert at budgeting, but the recent setbacks have created a hole in the budget that they just can’t close without our help.
If you can find it in your heart to help with even a small donation, every little bit will help. It would be so heartbreaking if they were to lose this potential home because of a lack of security deposit funds. I'd love to be able to help them move in before Christmas, and they could, if they can just get this security deposit money.
