The bright side for Jess

With a heavy heart, I am going to try my very best to update everyone what is, has , and will be going on with Jess as of late.
Just about two weeks ago she had done a quick self breast exam on herself. When she felt something that she hadn't felt before, and immediately grew concerned. The next day we went to the hospital to undergo a series of various tests. She was quickly diagnosed with stage two breast cancer after her biopsy.
The plan as of now is to remove the mass, via bilateral mastectomy, which is scheduled on the 26th of this month. She then will have to wait two weeks for her pathology report to come back, in order to find out what her treatment plan will entail. Whether it be chemo, radiation, possibly both, or possibly none at all.
It is very tough to see someone so strong and full of so much positivity, and so full of life, being forced to face such a life altering ordeal.
Her career has to be put on hold for a minimum of three months and depending on the outcome of the findings after surgery, it could very well be much longer.
She is a fighter, an amazing single Mother and provider. Her outlook on life is always so positive and it still is, despite this whirl wind that has become her life. She truly amazes me everyday with her strength and determination.
Working for yourself makes this situation that much harder. Her life is at a stand still and unfortunately her bills and responsibilities are not.
