Littman/Suazo Family Support

In May, Juliana (Gigi) Littman was an active 12 -year old until an infection crept into her body placing her in the hospital. Even with fantastic doctors and medical treatments, little Gigi's health worsened. The infection spread causing Gigi to be hospitalized for treatments, then trying to recover at home, before going back to the hospital for additional treatments. Gigi's cognition steadily dropped well below that of an active 12 year old.

The infection continued to take over Gigi's body and has now presented itself as encephalitis, an acute inflammation of the brain. Because the condition has advanced so quickly, Gigi is receiving experimental treatments which are paid out-of-pocket and not covered under insurance. Insurance coverage has also maxed out placing the family in financial hardship. 

Gigi's mom continues to work, while supporting Gigi and Gigi's older brother. The Cloudvirga Team supports Gigi, her mom Patricia Suazo, and her brother Jonathon as they continue to fight for relief and healing.
