Sudden Loss Of Our Father Help Us Bring Him Home
Donation protected
Your donations during this time will help with cremation/memorial services, as well as bringing him home to us.
In 2007 our dad was taken from us when he was deported from this country for 20 years. Immigration in this country is a nightmare and a very expensive unfair process. Just shy of 4 years left, a dream cut short and our world turned upside down. On November 10th a blood clot traveled from our dad’s leg to his heart causing him to suffer a heart attack. 4 years shy of being able to see or hug him again. 4 years shy of meeting his grandchildren for the first time, and leaving us devastated now in the process.
Thee cremation/memorial process will be 3800 Euros which converts to almost $4000 dollars. We are asking for $4000 to cover these expenses plus expenses for him to be sent to us stateside where we can say our final goodbyes to our father who was taken too soon, not only by death but first by immigration. Our family unfortunately does not have the financial stability to be able to cover these expenses in the six week window they have given us to pay. Please consider rallying around our family during this time. We believe in the power of community. When humanity is brought together, mountains can be moved.
Our dad was born in 1958 in Holland. He was brought to America when he was 2 years old. He grew up on the west coast and loved the ocean. He did many trades from oil exploration to the rock demolition quarries. He was a carpenter he could build a house from the ground up which he taught to his children who have also excelled in this trade. He loved working on cars and motorcycles and could fix anything. He married our mom in 1982 and was blessed with 5 beautiful children and 9 grandchildren.
He was taken way from us way to soon.
May he fly high now
And rest In peace.
He will be truly missed.
01-17-1958 - 11-10-2023.
He leaves behind five children and nine grandchildren all his brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews and many friends that he’s known and made along the years.
If you have any photos of my dad Please reach out thank you.
I want him to be remembered for the legend he was to all of us who knew him.
May your legacy live on through all of us forever dad.
Love you long time Papa G. Your son and loved ones.
