Genaro's Medical Fund

Genaro is a father of four, immigrated from Mexico 16 years ago to provide a better quality of life for his children. Recently he was diagnosed with liver and bladder cancer, and since he is self employed, lacks the insurance to assist with medical costs.  Genaro will have to go through rigorous chemotherapy as part of his treatment, which can get very expensive. He is currently in a state hospital with hopes of being transferred to a hospital that provides better oncology care.
Unfortunately, he won't be able to start this care until he is transferred and with the lack of insurance and funds, that is taking more time than it should. 
He is the sole provider of the household of 6, his children ranging from 26 to 12. I have the pleasure of working with one of his older sons, and my workplace and I are trying to ease the burden on his family by starting this page.
Two of his children are still in school, and all proceeds will go to making sure the biggest portions of his medical bills are paid, providing for the youngest children to make sure they don't have to go without in this already difficult time, and helping pick up any bills that might come up in the household since he is unable to work.
