I set STAGE 4 DESERVES MORE up as a non profit organisation to support others who like myself live with Secondary Breast Cancer.I run it with the help of my 2 daughters Ruby,10 and Scarlett, 8 who are extremely devoted to the hands on element of the work as well as the fundraising.We send out free support/information packs to people in the UK diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer...these can be requested from our website - www.stage4deservesmore.com I run a private support group on Facebook, this is for the diagnosed person only and can be found by typing in the search bar - Stage 4 Deserves More Secondary Breast Cancer Support Group where there is lots of support and advice in a safe environment, there is a free weekly treat raffle where members can win a bunch of flowers, hampers, spa treatments etcWe also fundraise to support Secondary Breast Cancer Research projects....100% of what is raised towards research goes directly to the professor running the project.The first project we will be funding is at the University of Manchester and we will be presenting them with our donation in November 2020, we are extremely excited about this, the project is looking into cells that cause spread in secondary breast cancer and finding targeted drugs that could prevent or slow the spread enabling people to live longer with stage 4 breast cancer.(If you would like more information about this project please get in touch, I have all the papers regarding this.
