Gemmas recovery fund

so... I have set this page up for my hard working mother of 2 sister, who has recently lost a considerable amount of money including her savings, and overdraft facility. Sadly she has become a victim of fraudulant activity on her bank account and after a phone call which she believed was the bank due to recent liasions with HSBC due to fraudulant activity transferred her bank account contents plus overdraft facility into the hands of someone with clearly no conscience or consideration to others (scum in other words). HSBC have told her she will not get the money back and basically theres nothing they can do for her. I know times are hard - she does herself she worked through the pandemic and supported her ward to get through some tough shifts. Gemma would never expect anything from anyone and probably will hate me for creating this page but I know she would help me if I needed her to. I can't imagine how she will feel having lost all her hard earned money - shes even had to cancel a trip to the lakes with her kids over half term as she feels she can't justify a trip with this new found debt she holds. I'm sure we have all experienced a downfall in life and understand the impact this can have on our mental health/general wellbeing. So if anyone would like to donate absolutely any amount to help relieve the burden of this debt she now holds I know I will be as truley greatful as she would be to anyone who donates. This is a debt Gemma has fell victim to due to fraudulant behaviour if anyone recieves any message, phone calls or email from typically your bank but any providor ALWAYS clarify this with the provider, raise concerns about suspicious contact - i've recently learnt you can forward suspicious texts to 7226 and your network provider will investigate this for you.
