Gemma Grace Farrell

Please help our sweet girl! Anyone who knows Gemma knows how amazingly smart she is. She has always been advanced for her age, but she also is abundantly kind. She loves babies, animals, her family...she truly is a one-of-a-kind child. She has been so strong through all of this, and it is heartbreaking to see her cry every time she sees a doctor or nurse because she thinks "they have to poke her again". 

We recently found out Gemma Grace wasn't feeling well. After a couple doctors visits, an extended stay at the hospital, and now a helicopter ride, our girl has been transported to Seattle Children's Hospital for further testing. Gemma is such a fighter, but some of her results are not what we hoped for. The verdict is still out on why she is so sick, and we are just praying Seattle can give us some answers. They started their own line of testing tonight when she arrived in hopes of getting ahead of the problem. Currently Gemma can hardly move her head or her neck, she has had a fever of approximately 103 degrees for 11 days, and other parts of her body have started swelling abnormally large, as well. To top all of that off, Gemma's mommy Chelsea just so happens to be ready to have a baby boy any day now. The expenses between medical costs, missing work, and traveling seem to just keep adding up, as many of you who have had a sick child can relate to.

Gemma's parents aren't the type to ask for donations, but if you can help in any way we would be so grateful. Monetary donations, prayers, and words of encouragement are absolutely a blessing in this difficult time. We are so thankful for the love and support of those surrounding our family. It means more than we can express.
