<div>Am 22. April 2026 veränderte sich das Leben der 15-jährigen Audrey und ihrer Familie von einem Moment auf den anderen.

<div>Auf dem Weg zur Schule wurde Audrey mit ihrem Fahrrad von einem Traktor erfasst und erlitt dabei schwerste Kopfverletzungen. Sie wurde mit einem Rettungshubschrauber in eine Klinik gebracht und kämpft seitdem jeden Tag um ihre Genesung.

<div>Audrey ist eine lebensfrohe, sportliche und liebevolle 15-Jährige. Sie liebt ihre Familie, ihre Freunde, Musik, das Eiskunstlaufen und die vielen kleinen schönen Momente des Lebens. Wer Audrey kennt, kennt auch ihren Mut, ihre Entschlossenheit und ihr großes Herz.

<div>Nach Wochen auf der Intensivstation befindet sich Audrey inzwischen in einer spezialisierten neurologischen Rehabilitationsklinik in Hamburg. Sie befindet sich weiterhin in einem Wachkoma, hat jedoch bereits wichtige Fortschritte gemacht. Sie kann inzwischen selbstständig atmen und erhält täglich intensive Therapien, die sie auf ihrem langen Weg der Genesung unterstützen.

<div>Ihre Eltern Tracy und Alex sowie ihre Geschwister Wayne und Olivia begleiten sie seit dem Unfall jeden einzelnen Tag. Gemeinsam hoffen sie auf weitere Fortschritte und darauf, dass Audrey Schritt für Schritt zu ihnen zurückfindet.

<div>Da noch niemand vorhersagen kann, welche Unterstützung Audrey in den kommenden Monaten oder Jahren benötigen wird, möchten wir sicherstellen, dass sie Zugang zu jeder Therapie, jeder Behandlung und jeder Möglichkeit erhält, die ihre Genesung fördern kann.

<div>On April 22, 2026, the lives of 15-year-old Audrey and her family changed in an instant.
</div>

</div>
<div>On her way to school, Audrey was struck by a tractor while riding her bicycle and suffered severe traumatic brain injuries. She was airlifted to hospital and has been fighting for her recovery ever since.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Audrey is a bright, athletic, and kind-hearted young woman. She loves her family, her friends, music, figure skating, and the simple joys of everyday life. Anyone who knows Audrey knows her determination, her courage, and her beautiful heart.
</div>

</div>
<div>After weeks in intensive care, Audrey is now receiving treatment at a specialized neurological rehabilitation clinic in Hamburg. She remains in a minimally conscious state, but she has already made important progress. She is now breathing on her own and participates in daily therapies that support her long journey toward recovery.
</div>

</div>
<div>Her parents, Tracy and Alex, along with her siblings Wayne and Olivia, have remained by her side every step of the way. Together, they continue to hope and pray for further progress as Audrey fights her way back to them.
</div>

<div>While no one can yet predict what support Audrey may need in the months and years ahead, we want to ensure that she has access to every therapy, treatment, resource, and opportunity that may help her recovery.
</div>

<div>Donations will help cover travel expenses to Hamburg, accommodation, rehabilitation costs, medical-related expenses, loss of income, and the many unexpected challenges that arise during a journey like this.
