<div>Eine Mutterkuh namens <strong>Vivi</strong> und ihr kleines Kalb <strong>Oskar,</strong> die beide<strong> zur Fleischgewinnung gezüchtet wurden, </strong>waren über zwei Wochen auf der Flucht. In diesen zwei Wochen hat das Wetter alles gegeben: Kälte, Regen, Sturm. Für ein so junges Kalb wie Oskar war das eine kaum vorstellbare Belastung – frierend, schutzlos, aber immer an der Seite seiner Mutter. Vivi hat ihr Kind tapfer beschützt, Tag und Nacht, obwohl sie selbst geschwächt war.

<div>Ausgerechnet am <strong>Welttierschutztag</strong> habe ich die beiden gefunden – eng aneinandergeschmiegt, erschöpft, aber lebendig. Und in diesem Moment wusste ich: Ich kann sie nicht ihrem Schicksal überlassen und möchte sie <strong>vor der Schlachtung retten</strong>. Ich möchte Vivi und Oskar bei mir aufnehmen, ihnen ein sicheres Zuhause schenken – ein Leben, das sie nicht fürchten müssen.
