Peter's Broken Leg

Peter was brought to Valley Humane Society (a no-kill shelter in Casa Grande, AZ) along with two other dogs.  They had been left behind in the back yard when their owners moved and were not found for three weeks.  All of them were starving, tick-infested, and extremely leery of humans.  Both of the other dogs are pregnant and Peter has a badly broken leg, which he most likely sustained while trying to escape the yard.  All three dogs are recovering, but VHS does not have the funds to surgically repair Peter's leg.  The poor little guy has been through so much already.  Let's not let him go through the rest of his life with a useless rear leg.
