Geans Family Houston Flood Recovery

Calvin , Johnetta  and their three children were forced to evacuate their home in Southeast Houston due to rising flood waters.  Therefore, they are currently in a shelter and in need of financial assistance.   Houston is still in harm's way and we are expecting flooding to continue possibly causing more damage to their home and personal belongings.  They are not certain when they may be able to return to their home due to extreme flooding in their area.  They had to make the hard decision to leave their two pets behind in a secure and safe place in their home.  Please continue to pray for them and their family.  Your prayers and donations will be greatly appreciated whatever the amount.  We are  trusting God will keep them in perfect peace as they endure this time of hardship.

8/31 update:  
They were able to enter their home on 8/30.  Their pets were fine but shaken up by the experience.   Their vehicles are not drivable due to flooding out.  They are now in the process of cleaning, salvaging and storing their personal items.  Their home has suffered water damage.   Your contributions will help them to move and store salvagable items.  In additon to restoring household items and clothes, amongst many other items.  They have a long process ahead of them with laundering clothes, restoring furniture, cleaning their house, and  finding a new residence and transportation.
