Burial expenses for Betty McIltrot

My name is Mary Miller. My Mother Betty was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in April of this year, just before Easter. She was given a pretty good chance of beating it. For the last 6 months, she was doing great with her chemo. She had a great spirit. She laughed, she sang, she always made you laugh, she was amazing!. She had friends, family, and a wonderful boyfriend to help her get thru this. In the last few weeks ,she got bad news that her tumor on her Pancreas had gotten bigger instead of shrinking like they had hoped would happen. Immediately I noticed a change in her spirit. She started to doubt she could make it now. They were supposed to shrink the tumor so they could remove it. This news put those plans on hold. She told us she was gonna hafta start back with more chemo and radiation. Then she got really sick with Pleurisy in the last couple weeks. I just saw her a few days before she passed, and I could tell she was scared to death, in a lot of pain, and her fighting spirit had been crushed. Today, Oct. 27th, 2014, she passed away. Her boyfriend found her unresponsive laying in her bed. I am hoping she passed peacefully in her sleep, but we won't know until the autopsy is done. She was in extreme pain, and had a hard time breathing from the Pleurisy. She was on very strong pain meds as well, and it wasn't helping at all. My sister lives in Evansville , Indiana, and we live in New Castle, Pa. Both my sister and I, do not have any money for something like this.  Our family can only help so much with burial expenses. I home school both my young children and cannot work because of the rigorous schedule, and I also take care of my 99 year old Grandfather who lives with my kids, and I. My sister is married, and has 3 kids, and is also not financially able to help much with expenses. My mother wished to be cremated, & that's what we are planning to do. We will have a small ceremony for her, for family to pay their respects, as well as friends. We are making arrangements tomorrow with the funeral director. Just doing research online , even cremation , transportation, and body storage and refrigeration costs will run into a few thousand dollars. We are asking for anything you can give, no matter how small. And we appreciate any donation to help our family put our Mother to rest. We are saddened by the loss of our beloved Mother, Sister, and friend. But ultimately very joyous for the end of her horrible suffering. Thank you in advance for any donation you can make!!!!
