Krista McVay's Funeral Fund

Krista Renee McVay passed away October 26, 2014 at about 11:40 pm due to complications after a recent surgery. Her passing was very unexpected and has shocked and devastated all of the people who love her. Throughout most of her life Krista has lived with Lupus which  is a chronic, autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body. Since she found out at the age of fourteen she had this disease she has  been fighting to remain healthly and whole. In 2007 the Lupus caused her kidneys to fail and she has been going to dialysis in hopes to recieve a kidney. In the last couple of years her pancreas has been acting up causing extreme pain and frequent hospital visits, and recently the doctors told her that her pancreas was no good and if she wanted a kidney she needed to have it removed. Thursday October 23, 2014 Krista went in to surgery to take out her pancreas, so she could schedule her surgery for a new kidney and pancreas. After surgery Krista was struggling to breath, and the doctors were tring to remove the fluid that was building up in her lungs and around her heart. On the night of October 26, 2014 Kristas blood pressure was going up and down and the doctors couldn't perform dialysis until she was stable, in the end after multiple attempts to resescitate her she passed away. It is with great grief and sorrow that I ask for all of her friends and family to help Krista's family with the expenses of the funeral.
