Todd Kilhenny Cancer Fund

In January of this year, my brother Todd, was diagnosed with heart disease requiring a quadruple bypass and Colon Cancer, requireing extensive treatment and surgery.  When he found out, he didn't blink an eye, he had a bring it on attitude and believed through his faith in the lord that everything would be okay.  He underwent chemo and radiation therapy in February and March.  His next step was to have the quadrupple bypass, but due to insurance issues that were eventually resolved, he didn't undergo that surgery until July 10th.
Todd was out of the hospital in 5 days and back on his feet and working in 2 weeks.  Todd is self employed, which means when he doesn't work, he doesn't earn, so he knew he had to get back out there and work as much as possible before his upcoming cancer surgery in September.  What was supposed to be a 3 to 4 hour surgery combined with a 5 to 7 day hospital stay, turned into a 10 hour surgery and a 24 day stay in the hospital.  He awoke from surgery with paralysis in his right arm and hand (Todd is right handed), and, although there has been some improvement, many day to day tasks still prove to be quite difficult, and his energy level is still quite low.  He has a colostomy bag for the next 4 months and will still need 4 to 6 more months of chemo.

Over the past few months, he has been blessed with help from family and friends, but the loss of income he has endured has proved too difficult to bounce back from, he still needs a bit of financial assistance to get back on solid ground again.    The stress of the bills piling up is not helping his recovery, I hope that by starting this fund he can concentrate on his healing and future treatments and move forward with his life.
