Hello, my name is Carnisha. I am starting a gofundme because I simply need help. I am currently on maternity leave. Delivered my son via emergency c section on May 2nd and I have not even reached my 6 weeks to even solely heal and yet as we know, bills do not stop. I have tried to seek help however, no agency has funds to help out. Family and friends were able to help last month but this month they are not able to, which I understand because they have their own lives and bills as well. As a woman in this world, it is almost as though no one truly cares about what we go through to bring life into this world. I have not even had the chance to cope with the fact both me and my son's life was in danger or even processed how the delivery happened and yet here I am not only stressing but needing help to the point I have initiated this gofundme. I usually work for what me and my children need so this is very hard to do. Being used to being able to work and pay bills and care for children is something we may take for granted until we mentally need a break or physically just have to heal our bodies or potentially be in worse shape if we do not. I appreciate any help, even if it is prayer. My prayer is for anyone who thinks of me and my family that God blesses you 10 fold.
