We lived a simple but dignified life.

We had a warm home to retreat to at the end of the day, a job that provided us with a dignified living, and a car that transported us wherever we wanted. We were happy despite the simplicity of life. We had small details that gave our days flavor and meaning.

But the war came suddenly, stealing everything from us.

We lost our home, our work, and the small dreams we had built brick by brick.

Today, we live in a tent, under the scorching sun, with no walls to protect us or a roof to shield us from the treacherous days. Our children ask us, "When will we return?" and we have no answer.

We aren't asking for much...just for the life we had to return to. Just for us to find a safe place where we can reorganize our dreams.

If you'd like me to personalize it (by adding names or more personal details about the family), I'd be happy to help.
