GLOBAL VOLUNTEERS: TANZANIA

Over the past two years, I’ve embarked on two service trips- one  to St. Lucia  and the second to Ipalamwa, Africa where I  helped impelement  a program called  “Reaching Children’s Potential”. This program helps families learn skills to interact with and stimulate their children, starting at birth. The basis of this program is to support families as they build better lives for their children through positive interaction and support.  I spent two weeks  training families  on overall child development, social interactions and helping them communicate with their babies via play, reading and  music . My goal is to return to Ipalamwa  to continue to help develop programs that will be sustained long after my journey is completed.

Having been part of Team One in Ipalamwa, we planted seeds for the success of this program and the need to return is great.

At this season of  giving, please consider donating towards this trip. Your donation will assist in my providing to contribute to the health of the community in powerful ways that have a lasting impact.  While I cannot bring supplies, a portion of your donation will be utilized to acquire materials for the RCP program in Tanzania.
