GCSO K9 Maggie ACL Surgery

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office is saddened to announce K9 Maggie sustained an injury to her rear right Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) during recurring training this week. K9 Maggie is in need of surgery to insure her ability to continue serving as a Patrol K9 for many years to come and to enjoy a comfortable retirement in the future. K9 Maggie’s surgery has been scheduled for January 31st and is estimated to cost $3,500. The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the assistance of its community to help fund K9 Maggie’s surgery through the generosity of donations. Any funds raised over the surgery amount will go into the K9 fund, to help with follow-up appointments.
