Debra's Medical Fund

Anyone who knows Debra knows she is a fighter. She is an advocate for her students, a provider for her children, and a fierce and loyal friend. She is the first to see a need and serve others, giving her time and energy to individuals and causes selflessly.

Today, it is Debra who needs our support. A cancer diagnosis is terrifying to any parent, but to a single working mom, it can be devastating. Debra’s recent thyroid cancer diagnosis has created an overwhelming financial burden, and she needs our help. With little to no time off and high deductibles, the expensive tests, treatments, and surgeries are no match for a teacher's salary. 

While Debra would never ask for help and will probably cringe at this request, it is precisely the reason her friends and family insist on doing it. After all she has done to care for others, it is time for us to care for you, Debra.
