childs bone cancer road to recovery

As a mother the worse news you want to hear is that your child has cancer (osteosarcoma, bone cancer). Having to undergo 18 hrs or surgery to take a grape fruit size tumor out along with a hip replacement. At that moment our lives changed, and my son being 17 with life long goals of playing football went out the door, he had to give up his job working at the paintball park since he was 15 which he loved very much. He went from an active teenager to having to be at the hospital every week for 3-5 days at a time and will continue for 6 months. Its a hard situation to have to deal with, the hair loss, the pain he goes through with all the side effects of the chemo. A good friend and I showed our support by having my son shave our head to show bald it still beautiful. It breaks my heart to have to see him go through everything he has and is still going through, with the holidays and medical bills times are very hard. We are asking for small donations to help with the expenses of chemo treatments and helping my baby have a decent Christmas. Any thing will help $5,$15,$15 ect....
