Help Wendy !!!

Donation protected
Wendy needs everyone's help! Wendy is a quadriplegic woman who has worked extremely hard to be independent. After surviving a horrible car accident, she went through intense rehabilitation, 6 Hours per day, five days a week. She returned to college to earn her degree, and then attended graduate school. Despite having minimal personal care, facing constant discrimination from her school, and with almost no accommodations for her disability, Wendy worked twice as hard to overcome adversity, and earned her graduate degree in clinical psychology. She now is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, and provides free counseling for active duty service members, veterans, and their families. Wendy is a very giving, caring, loving person, and always puts others needs before her own. Wendy's independence is what motivates her as well as the satisfaction of helping others. Although Wendy usually tries to do everything on her own, she could really use our help.

Wendy recently took her customized van to a local automotive shop to have brake work done. Instead of putting the driver seat in so he could properly drive her van, the mechanic tried to stand up to drive, and crashed her car into the lift pole, totaling the front of the car and smashing the electronics and hydraulics needed to operate the vehicle. None of which can be repaired. Since her van is so old, the insurance will only give her eight thousand dollars for it. A van with the modifications she needs will cost her around sixty thousand dollars. Please help Wendy with any donation you can. In her city, there are no wheelchair accessible taxis, the bus does not go near her area, and there are not even any sidewalks for her to get around, therefore she has no means of transportation to get to a store, doctors appointment, or work. Wendy has worked so hard to accomplish all she has, and just wants to be able to help our military service members and their families. Please help her to gain her independence and freedom back, so she can get her needs met, and be able to assist others. Thank you to all of you for your support !!
