GBU World Winter Games

Hi, I have been selected to represent Team GB Students in ice hockey at the FISU Winter World University Games 2023 in Lake Placid, USA.

BUCS have set an athlete contribution of £2475 each for the competition, which must be paid fully within the upcoming weeks. The cost covers form entry fees, flights, accommodation and food, insurance and more.

The team will compete against the USA, Canada, Japan, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The tournament will be televised across the world.

I play for the Glasgow Stags and the Caledonia Steel Queens. With only having played for 4 years I am delighted to be given this once in a lifetime experience.

Any amount of money would really help me out to get to the games which is where all funds will go towards.
