Prostate Cancer
Hi, my name is Drew and I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer this year. I was not a good candidate for having surgery to remove the prostate and it was estimated that I had a 74% chance of still having cancer after the prostate gland was removed. So the doctors recommended I use a combination of hormone therapy, Brachytherapy and radiation. I'm still waiting for appointments to start the Brachy but I hope it can start soon. If you can donate anything to my cause it will go directly to the Prostate Cancer research fund. I'll do my best on the mustache side although I'm not a very hairy guy:-)
Hey men we have to stick together! Please ask your doctor to add PSA to the list of tests the next time you go to the lab for bloodwork - if it's not almost zero ask to see a urologist and you can likely get a hold of this before it progresses too far. Please donate to my cause and the prostate cancer folks will make sure to use the funds to find a prevention or cure for this nasty disease in men. I have no symptoms and only found out I had cancer through my PSA bloodwork test...... if you are male 40 or above please do this test just to be sure.
