Meet Keny Flores, a bright 2 yo who lives in a rural village of Bella Vista, located in Southern Belize in Central America. He loves to sing and dance, chase his friends, and would love to grow up to be an inspiration to his friends and family. However, he now faces many dark days of constant pain and fear, because how do you explain to a 2 yo he is dying from a brain tumor? The sad news is that his type tumor, polymyxoid astrocytoma, is treatable with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. This therapy is not available in tiny Belize (population 330,000), but can be accessed in Meridia, Mexico thanks to the generosity of the Mexican Public Health Care System. They will accept Keny for treatment, but only if his direct treatment costs can be guaranteed. Please, help this child find his future.
