My Fight Multiple Myeloma Cancer

My name is Keith Lessing I am a 45 year old husband and father, I have five wonderful children and a supportive,loving ,caring ,and mother to my children ( Carole lessing ) I am currently battling multiple myeloma cancer which is in the family of leukemia, unfortunately the multiple myeloma has affected my central nervous system and is eating the fibers that protect the nerves that sends signals to the brain and throughout the body it has now traveled into my limp nods, I just battled and beat
Renal cancer that is currently in remission at this time, I have been battling cancer since January 2014 and it has had a huge emotional and scary impact on my family and myself, our faith ,family, spiritual brothers, sisters and personal friend has helped us to stay strong through this battle, it's very hard to stay positive and focused when battling a disease of this magnitude without faith, positive family, friends and spiritual brothers and sisters and even people out there that we have never had any contact with that has experienced this kind of a disease with a family member or friends these success stories are very encouraging, I have 5 children ranging from the age of 25 years old to13 years old I have three boys and two girls and 3 grand babies 2 girls and 1 maniac boy but I love them dearly, and two of my boys are currently still living at home one is 25 and helps care for me and is also our property manager while my wife works 12 hour days. My wife Carole works 12 hour days to try to help make ends meet but unfortunately her income is not enough to carry us through, she is very determined, supportive, and positive, she very determined to go to Houston with me for through my treatments for support so that time is going to be tough because she has only a certain amount of PTO time and sick time., I will be leaving , November 1 for my appointment on the 3rd FOR MD ANDERSON CANCER CENTER OF HOUSTON . At one time we had a savings account for emergency situations but this fight has significant eaten our entire savings we are currently trying to survive off of my wife's income and I have tried to get out and work when I can although leukemia or multiple myeloma is a bone cancer that makes it very difficult and tough to do any kind of physical activities including work. my wife and I are doing everything we can spiritually,financially,physically and mentally do to keep the family together. other than the disease itself the most difficult thing that we are faced upon is finances to keep food in the house and to pay billIs. We have done well for many years l have been the spitiual leader financial provider father and husband for my family for 19 yrs we have seen o <r kids through school and some through college and one that is in the Marine Corp serving our country and protecting our freedom, We have never been in a financial situation to where we have to ask for help of this level, we have always been the one that helps others. Giving to ] eo] le that were in the need . I am in the paintless dent repair industry which I have been blessed , And it has allowed us to help others including bringing other children into our home seeing them through school. These are kids that are raised in a neglectful situation, they don't have have a mother or father that shows them spirit or love so we did.Now we are having to ask for help and I pray in the deepest of my heart that you all can find a place in your heart to contribute to whatever your heart asks or tells you to contribute. all prayers are so thankful and appreciative I believe in the power of prayer, I truly believe that God is going see our needs through this tough fight a head of us. To the hearts of many people, we pray that God will touch your heart to contribute whatever your hearts tells you to. I desperately ask for help to feed and keep my family together as I leave for Houston for treatments we're not sure how this is going to end but I care dearly about my family and will do whatever I can under my conditions, at this point I'm not too worried about my life I'm more concerned about my family I do have strong faith and I believe god is going to see me through this disease and direct me to the right people to the right doctors to the right hospital and what the doctors cant do I truly believe I Gods gonna be with them to help them with my disease and if not then that is God's will but I ask you again please contribute whatever your heart desires, every little bit will be gretfufuly appricated.
