Building a home for a Gaza family

We are raising money to assist a family in Gaza (that I know personally) to build a roof over their heads (literally) before the cold winter. Thank you for those who have donated and have helped raise $1,400 already. The goal is to get as close to the total cost of $12,000 as we can. A little from each of us can change the lives of the entire family. Allow me to provide more details:
The family was initially made up of 7 people – 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and their parents – all living in a 160 meter home, 60 meters of which has tin sheet roofing only.
3 of the young brothers (all in their 20s) have since married and each had a baby.
2 of the brothers and their families have each built small shelters on top of the 100 meter portion of their parents’ home. These small shelters only have tin sheet roofing which is more like a cover, than a roof. See below photos. The third brother and his family live downstairs with his parents.
For the past couple of winters, the 2 brothers and their families have struggled to survive through the harsh Gaza winters, with no heat, and with water leaking throughout their shelters. Our goal is to build them a cement roof and expand their living space a little. This is done by:
1. Building a cement roof on the 60 meters of the parents’ house that has tin sheet roofing so that they can build on top of it and expand their shelters.
2. Building a cement roof on the 160 meters space on the 2nd level.
