GayRidge Pride 2022 - Volunteer and Talent Fund

GAYRIDGE is an LGBTQIA+ community group in South Brooklyn. Our mission is to help queer people and allies connect and support one another.

 

Sunday, June 5, 2022, is our neighborhood's first Pride Day--ever!

 

GayRidge is NOT a non-profit (yet). However, we have created this fund to compensate our volunteers and talent fairly. We will also accept cash and Venmo support on the day of the event for the same purpose. ALL financial support received will be distributed equally among participants at the end of the event (with NO expenses deducted).

 

Any participant who checks in at the start of the day (11:00 AM), works the event, and checks out at the end of the day (6:00 PM)--or performs an agreed-upon 50min set--will be entitled to an equal share of the financial support received. (Participants can let us know at the start of the day if they would like to contribute their share back to the rest of the group.)

 

IMPORTANT: this sharing system includes everyone: performers, professionals, and “volunteers."
