Our world was rocked on Feb 20th, 2018 when we found out Mom had cancer. This news came out of no where! How could this be?!?

For those of you who know my Mom, she is the most caring, driven, diligent, faith-filled woman you could meet.  She was always willing to help anyone in need. She put everyone's needs above her own.

So what ended up being a routine check up resulted in test after test, surgery to remove the tumor, bad news compounded by worse news, and now the only "cure," to a cancer that cannot be defined, is hospice.

My Mom and Dad are both hard working people. Due to the current circumstances,  neither one of them are able to work. Mom had 2 surgeries in 8 hours, spent 4 days in ICU, another 3 days in a step-down unit in the hospital and had to make the heart-breaking decision of hospice,  since the specialists felt chemo would not be an option to the aggressive cancer attacking her abdominal cavity. Shane (my brother) and I are home helping Mom and Dad 24/7.

So now I'm doing something I've never dreamed of: asking for help so my Dad doesn't need to worry about the medical bills and funeral that we never planned on.

If you cannot give a monetary donation, please don't worry. We would love for you to pray for us as we navigate this heart wrenching journey as we prepare to say goodbye.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
