<div>Gaye, 56 yaşında, işinde başarılı bir jeoloji mühendisi ve çok sevilen bir yoga hocası. “Pandemi başladığında ilk aklıma gelen 'Kanser hastaları ne yapacak?' sorusuydu.” diyerek başlıyor hikayesine Gaye ve 6 ay sonra rutin bir kontrol sonrası kendisine meme kanseri teşhisi konuyor.

<div>Gaye, meme kanseri teşhisinden sonra mastektomi ameliyatı olup iki yıl ağır kemoterapi, radyoterapi ve akıllı ilaç tedavileri gördü. 2022 yılının Mart ayında tedavisi sonlandırıldı. Ancak tam 8 ay sonra lenflerine sıçramış olan meme kanseri, beyinde dev boyutta metastatik bir tümör olarak karşısına çıktı. Bu tümör, sağ temporal lobun tamamını kaplayacak kadar büyüktü ve durumu son derece tehlikeli hale getiriyordu.

<div>Gaye, acil ameliyata alındı. Robotların eşliğinde, 9 saat süren, başarılı bir açık beyin ameliyatı geçirdi. Ameliyat sonrasında bilimsel heyet akıllı ilaç kemoterapisi ve radyoterapi tedavileriyle süreci yönetmeye karar verdi. 6 ay sonra beyinde üç adet metastatik tümör daha tespit edildi. Radyoterapi ile durum kontrol altına alındı ancak bilimsel heyet, Gaye'nin kaotik sürece girdiğini, süresiz kemoterapi ile yaşamını uzatmayı hedefledikleri bilgisini paylaştı. Bu sürece giren hastaların bedenleri kemoterapik ilaçları ne kadar kompanse ederlerse o kadar ömür biçiliyordu.

<div>Bu haber, Gaye’yi ve biz yakınlarını derinden etkiledi ve alternatif tedaviler arayışına yöneltti. Yoğun süren araştırmalar sonucu, uzun yıllardır holistic (bütüncül) yöntemlerle kanser tedavisi yapan Gerson Institute ile görüşüldü. Gaye’nin tüm tıbbi raporlarını inceleyen doktorlar, Gerson Terapi’nin, Gaye'nin durumunda ve daha komplike durumda olan hastalarda metabolik destekle yüksek oranda iyileşme sağladığını belirttiler. <div>"Hello Friends, my name is Gaye and I am calling out to you because I am looking for support during one of the most difficult periods of my life." says Gaye. And as friends and relatives who believe that Gaye will recover, we want to share Gaye's story and the support needed for her healing.

<div>Gaye is 56 years old, a successful geological engineer and a beloved yoga instructor. “When the pandemic began, the first question that came to my mind was ‘What will cancer patients do?’” she says, starting her story, and 6 months later, after a routine check-up, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
</div>
<div>After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Gaye had a mastectomy and underwent two years of heavy chemotherapy, radiotherapy and smart drug treatments. Her treatment was terminated in March 2022. However, exactly 8 months later, the breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes appeared as a giant metastatic tumor in the brain. This tumor was large enough to cover the entire right temporal lobe, making the situation extremely dangerous.

<div>Gaye was taken into emergency surgery. She underwent a successful open brain surgery that lasted 9 hours, accompanied by robots. After the surgery, the scientific committee decided to manage the process with smart drug chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments. 6 months later, three more metastatic tumors were detected in the brain. The situation was taken under control with radiotherapy, but the scientific committee shared the information that Gaye had entered a chaotic phase and that they aimed to prolong her life with indefinite chemotherapy. The lifespan of patients entering this phase was determined by how much their bodies could compensate for the chemotherapy drugs.

<div>This news deeply affected Gaye and us, her relatives, and led us to seek alternative treatments. As a result of intensive research, a consultation was held with the Gerson Institute, which has been treating cancer with holistic methods for many years. Doctors who examined all of Gaye’s medical reports stated that the Gerson Therapy had provided high rates of recovery with metabolic support for patients in Gaye’s condition and even more complicated cases. We learned that there was a crucial window of opportunity to start this protocol since there were no tumors in Gaye’s body at the moment. We began working when they said they could help us execute this protocol remotely.
