Gavin's new wheels

I would like to introduce you to my son, Gavin. Gavin is 13 years old and was born with moderate/severe Cerebral Palsy, septo-optic dysplagia (making him legally blind) and several other developmental and intellectual handicaps. Because of this he is wheelchair bound and weighing nearly 100lbs at this point we are unable to lift him in and out of our vehicles. We were fortunate enough to find a reasonably priced wheelchair van last year, but unfortunately it is no longer safe and no longer useable due to the underbody rusting through. Gavin relied on this van to get to and from his doctors appointments in Hershey, Pa and Danville, Pa several times a year as well as being transported to and from school and just to get out of the house and have some "normal" kid time.  Gavin is such a positive force for all those who know him. He continues with his child like wonder and whimsy. He loves cars and can tell you anything from how many cylinders your car has down to what the most common problem for that car is. All funds raised would go to purchasing a wheelchair van for such an amazing boy who has touched everyones life who knows him in indescribable ways.
