Gavin Stokes MOM (Pat Schutte)

The most catastrophic event occurred in that Mom ( Patricia / Pat Schutte ) sadly suffered a major stroke on Sunday November 24th which has left her very debilitated and in much need of medical care as well as financial assistance for the long term care that will be required along with home care and physio therapy here in Canada.

The house will need to be modified to allow for her best care. She is unable to walk on her own and needs assistance to be fed. An adjustable bed to keep her comfortable and ramps for wheelchair access are just the beginning. Pat will require assistance for feeding and for all the other necessities that we take for granted as able bodied people.

In her current state, there is no way that Mom will ever be able to return to South Africa! No one ever wants to see a loved one like this so funds raised will be used to ensure that Pat receives the care and attention that she will require.
