My name is Gavan Beamish, I'm 8 years old and an Orange belt with ActivStars. Recently, I competed in a local tournament and placed first in 5 out of the 6 events I competed in, I took second place in the 6th event. Due to my performance I was invited to represent ActivStars at the NYAA National Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio this June.
Cincinnati is far away and I need your help to get there, so I can compete at the national level. I am raising money for plane tickets, a hotel room, tournament fees, and my sparring gear is getting worn out so I'd like to get some new gear for the tournament.
At only 8 years old this is a huge accomplishment and I am excited to share my journey with you!
