Gatton Family Support 4 Brian Odle

Many are aware of Brian Odle’s diagnosis, treatment, surgery, and leave of absence from the university. After a week at home in the Tri-Cities, Brian and his wife, Kim, returned to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas on August 7.  While in Houston, Brian is scheduled to receive eight more cycles of chemotherapy that began on August 10.  The additional cycles are to improve his long-term risk when added to the previous 12-week treatment, major surgery on June 6 and 8, followed by a month of hospitalization, rehabilitation, and recovery.

In anticipation of their return home and the challenges they will face, many have asked how we can provide financial assistance to Brian and Kim. We want to help them with expenses they already have faced during his leave of absence, and those they will face upon their return home. We anticipate that additional changes to their home will be required so it will be easier for Brian to navigate, among other needs. 

The Gatton College of Pharmacy established this GoFundMe page as an easy and convenient method to support Brian and Kim.
