Gateway HS Baseball SC Tournament

Nothing incites more excitement in sports than "Play Ball!" and that's what the Gateway Regional HS Baseball team of Woodbury Heights, NJ is planning to do this year in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Last season the Gators were nothing short of fantastic. The team was full of life as they battled through a cold and rainy April into the dog days of May and June, winning the Joe Lang Tournament and came in second in the Bill Campbell Classic. They then marched right into the playoffs, where they came up just one game short of the South Jersey Group 1 finals. Returning all but three seniors, the team intends to be contenders again.

This year the Gators will be starting their season with The Mingo Bay Invitational Tournament in SC. The players will be responsible for the cost of the trip. To assist the players the parents created the Gator Diamond Club, a booster organization to help with fundraising efforts to finance the transportation, lodging and meals for the team. We are working to bring the cost per player as low as possible.

The funding needs to be in place by January 31, 2018.
