Over the past 2 years I've watched my dad literally deteriorate before my eyes.  My dad has always been a strong hard working man full of dreams and ambitions.  An encourager that brought laughter and hope to everyone around him.
After a tick bite 2 years ago, my dad became ill... Slowly at first, and then over the past year got increasingly worse.  He has lost 80 lbs of muscle and every day suffers from chronic pain and extreme fatigue. After watching  him be unable to navigate a set of stairs with a grocery bag,  or pick up his grandkids or wrestle with them, or even sleep through a night ...we as a family have decided its  time for us to seek help south of the border.
