Hello, My name is Gary Kasekamp, I am 74 years old, and a member of the Cumberland Maryland Seventh-day Adventist Church.
We started building a new church about 4 years ago, and are not able to use the premises as yet. When we started building we pledged, as a church body, NOT to go into debt so we have not borrowed any money. Our church members, small in number, are diligently giving on a regular basis but we still need about 300,000 to finish.
I feel God has impressed me to do the following: I am going to ride my bicycle from the state of Washington to the church in Cumberland, MD 3000 +/- miles in hopefully 5 weeks. Start date was June 18 2019 and we expect to finish around July 23. You are included in my plan as well. I am asking for any donation in any amount if possible.
My support team is my wife and our 3 little ones. They will be keeping an eye on me the whole trip, making sure I get food, shelter and a bed each evening.
We will post each day on facebook so everyone can follow us.
My prayer is that God will impress you to help finish "tHIS" church.
