100 KM Bike Ride For Schizophrenia

Donation protected

As some of you may know schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by abnormal social behavior and failure to understand what is real.

What many of you may not know is that Tammy and I have been deeply affected by this illness. In addition to family members that have passed, we also have very close family friends that live with schizophrenia
on a day to day basis.

To that end, I have decided to raise awareness by doing a 100 KM solo bike ride for schizophrenia and potentially raise a $1940 donation that will be made to                    The Schizophrenia Society of Saskatchewan.             The significance of $1940 is to honour my Mother-In-Law who was born in 1940 and has since passed.

My ride will take place with the full cooperation of  The Schizophrenia Society Of Saskatchewan (see update) and all the proceeds will be distributed to the Executive Director, Dr. Jamie Eng.

My solo bike ride will take place Saturday September 2nd, 2017 (weather permitting) or on the alternate dates of September 3rd /4th.

From time to time (via social media and through updates on this page)I will keep everyone posted on my training activities and fundraising efforts.
