<div>His home, vehicle, belongings, and beloved surfboards/art were destroyed as he, and other locals, jumped into the ocean to get away from the smoke and heat.

<div>Gary would never ask for help, but he has lost everything, so we are asking for him.

<div>With Lahaina destroyed there is no longer work to return to, and it will take a long time to return to any sense of normalcy and steady income.
