Gary Hudson Medical bills

Donation protected
Gary Hudson started feeling ill  and ended up finding out his liver was not functioning as it should.  He went to Northwestern to get on the transplant list.  After the first of 2018 due to change in insurances, he was told he couldn't go with Northwestern and then met with a transplant team at Loyola.

The months of being run through the testing regiment and often finding his levels were off and couldn't get treatments, he then found he has liver cancer.  This meant a transplant needed to happen sooner so cancer doesn't spread.  In the meantime, his wife lost her job, her boss felt she was missing too much work caring for her sick husband.   Now they've been told with his counts he's not eligible for a transplant and  his liver function will continue to deteriorate and become fatal, most probably by the end of this summer.

Gary just wants to go fishing and spend what time he has left with his wife, Diana, and son, Geoff and daughter, Liz.

With seeing two different transplant teams and Diana losing her job, the medical bills have been mounding up and they are getting behind on their everyday expenses having lost Gary's income when he became ill.

They are looking at further medical expenses as his condition deteriorates in the months to come and unfortunately funeral expenses in the not too distant future.
Diana and Gary are both in their mid-50s and had hoped to work another 10 yrs. Before retiring and enjoying some time together.
Doctors have told them this is not to be.  Gary's biggest fear is leaving his family with a mountain of medical bills and debt.

Any amount will help.   Gary is a proud hardworking man who loves fishing and the great outdoors and spending time with his family.  He doesn't want to be thought of as a charity case.   He was a wrestler at El Paso High School and married his high school sweetheart and fellow classmate, Diana Harvey, from the class of 1982.
