Gary Ellertson Memorial Fund

Gary suffered a major heart attack on September 17th. Doctors were able to repair his heart but he had been without oxygen for several minutes, which caused severe brain damage. After spending more than a week in the ICU, Gary's family made the most difficult decision to remove him from life support. Gary passed away peacefully on September 27th. This fund was created in response to loving friends who wish to offer support to the family. Donations will go towards Gary's medical and funeral expenses. Gary leaves behind his wife Janice, his three children Shaun, Aaron, and Karalee, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at the LDS chapel located at 1270 South Orange Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020.
