Help Alex: Post Theft Recovery Fund

Hi everyone,

This morning I received a message from my brother, Alex, telling me that while he was away from his house his housemates broke into his room, stole his valuables, and his tools out of the garage. Currently, he has been in the transition of moving to a different home and was devastated to discover what had happened when he went to pack up more things this past weekened. Not only did he find his locked room door broken down, he found drug paraphanalia all over the house. 

I am setting up this page as a call out to our community. Alex has been a mechanic for the past several years, and without his tools it is impossible for him to continue to do this. It is huge monetary loss to have these investements taken from him. While we do believe that things are just things - these allow him to pursue his passion and livelihood. Over the past year I have watched my brother battle more personal challenges than most people would be able to handle, and some how always come out on the bright side. But this particular situation requires more of our help. 

If you can, please give to help Alex recover and replace his lost tools, and regain a little more hope in humanity. He has told me he would be willing to do exchanges of mechanical work (he is one of the best around) for donations - so if that is something you need please don't hesitate to ask. Also, please share this with your larger community. We're all better in this together. Thank you.
