Garry Kirstenfeldt's funeral

Our father was a man with much more life in him. Garry Kirstenfeldt was the most incredible man in all our lives. Our mother and my 3 siblings have so many beautiful memories and knew we had been very lucky. Our dad always had time for each of us, playing games or dealing with our squabble. He made an impression on all he met and considered his friends extended family.
He loved going on vacations, be it up the coast, or overseas. You’d always find him with a smile and family. He had been on 16 cruise ships and loved to relax with family or worry about activities to keep us entertained. His favourite would have been the one around Hawaii; He had wanted to retire there, no matter how difficult it would have been. We never expected his 17th cruise (Voyager of the Seas) to be his last or no one to be at his side for the last moments of his life.
As his family, this was the first time he had been in hospital and we were not at his side. He had been at death's door multiple times before. I would need both my hands and another to count all the times he gave us such frights but fought his way back to us. We struggled not being by his side in ICU or as he died since we are all in self-isolation but his eldest daughter, Orinda, and youngest son, Kevin, are isolated away from home as the rest of our family are confirmed.
It's been a struggle on our mother as she now needs to plan a funeral she hopefully can be attend since we have set it a week later on the 8th of March.
Our mother, Jennifer, will take the burden on her shoulders to deal with the expenses for the funeral as well as being the carer of her two children with disabilities and debts of financial difficulty. We, her children, will help her all the way and support each other in any way we can but unfortunately need to ask for help due to his sudden passing. We love him with all our hearts and miss him more than words could say.
