On Monday, Sept 3rd our beloved friend, son, and brother Garrett Gardner was found dead in Argentina, where he had been studying to be a doctor. He would have turned 28 in January, and was in the last two months of his studies before returning to Colorado to pursue his U.S. medical licensing. He was a fearless, vibrant, dedicated and caring man, who leaves behind his parents, Gayleen and Gentry, two brothers, Gabe and Gannon, and a niece, Olivia, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends across the world. The immense grief and sorrow the Gardner family and all who knew Garrett now feel is indescribable.
Gayleen and Gentry Gardner are now faced with needing to raise funds to travel to Argentina, navigate the system there, repatriate Garrett’s body and cover funeral costs for a bright young man lost far too young, something no parents should ever have to do. These unexpected costs could run over $45,000.
