The Deep Creek Lake Lions Club operates the community park at 1249 Bumble Bee Rd. centrally located in the county with plenty of open space, large cleared areas that are just waiting for a great new feature for everyone to enjoy!
What is a pump track?
It's bicycle track of rollers, banked turns and features designed to be ridden completely by riders' "pumping"—generating momentum by up and down body movements, instead of pedaling or pushing.
Why do we want to build one?
Pump tracks are great for riders of all skill levels and abilities and provide a safe space for socializing and recreation. They often create a base for other projects which grow into multiple projects that benefit the community.
