Garett's Cancer Treatment

Sometimes it is hard to swallow your pride and accept that you need help, but this is one of those times. Recently Garett and I receieved some life changing news; he has a tumor. We have no other details about it, but were told it needs to come out immeduately.

We recently met with a specialist and have surgery set up within the week which is great news, but also an emotional and financial blow. We are just coming off a rough few months of lost income due to unforeseen circumstances and were just getting back on our feet before this news.

This journey will be physically, emotionally, and financially taxing but with a little help from our friends and family we will be able to make it through. We are fortunate enough that he does have Medicare, but they do not cover the full cost of medical, and we are unsure how long he will be out of work.

So I figured we have nothing to lose by stating this campaign and seeing what happens. Any money raised will be used to cover the cost of medical services as well as normal living expenses while he is out of work.
