Gardner’s Wreck Relief

On February 2, 2020, a good friend of mine Kaci and her husband Stephan were headed home from church when a car hit them head on and flipped their suburban. Thankfully the boys Graham and Preston weren’t with them!
Stephan mainly got covered in scrapes and bruises from seatbelt and airbags, and a small laceration on his left calf.  

Kaci on the other hand took the most impact. She had a surgery on her right knee that was slashed open in the accident and a surgery on her shattered wrist and broken radius. Two days after the second surgery she had bilateral blood clots in her lungs. She was hospitalized for 8 days. She is currently on blood thinners for the next 3 months. She will hopefully get the hardware taken out of her wrist the 2nd week of March. 

For those of you who aren’t aware, Stephan owns his own business, Gardner’s Mobile Mechanic. The suburban they were in was Stephan’s work vehicle and their only vehicle. It was obviously totaled so this has lead to them not having an income. They also don’t have health insurance. They have no funds and bills are still rolling in and coming due. They need help to get them and the boys through this month. Kaci isn’t allowed to work for 4-6 more weeks. Stephan should be released next week but even with that they are already behind, due to the medical bills and lack of income since the 2nd.
