Help me to save this beautiful gallery garden! A haven for creative energy and amazing art projects. The Tikotin gallery & garden lies close to the multi cultural melting pot of Möllevången, in the city of Malmö, Sweden. It has for the last five years been a flourishing scene of some extraordinary events, like masquerade banquet´s, variety and cabaré-shows, spectacular conserts and performances, exhibitions of fantastic art. (See pictures.) It is allso a social arena for artists and people with a curiosity for the great mysteries of the universe. I have just turned it in to a Guesthouse, where people from arond the world can come and stay in this very special place. Plans for an artist-in-residence program is in progress..
But now I stand before a turning point, were theres a great risk that I will loose it all. Do to a personal crisis and a series of tragic events i find myself in an economic situation where the survival of this place is very much at stake. I realized that I can´t solve this by myself. I need help.
Measures have been taken to secure the operation of this project in the long run , like running the Guesthouse, and an innovative business plan for the gallery and the future events of the garden, etc. The problem lies in the short-term situation, the transformation itself. I need suport to cover the next few months of existence, before the project is strong enough to stand on it´s own two feet.
Will you help me? This is my life´s work that we´re talking about here, and I will do everything in my power to make it work. It´s a magic place. And it has the potential to become something truly great, that will set a mark in time. Something that will inspire and generate meaning and purpose to a whole lot of people. Not to mention all great art and ground breaking artistic expressions that will prosper in it´s footsteps.
