Garden of Hope Nepal

It was more than just a calling, I felt a deep longing to do more than just go on a fun mission trip, take some pictures, and return to my routine. I wanted God to lead me, be His hands and feet, even if it wasn't easy. I remember the first time I went to Nepal, I could not believe how at home I felt despite being thousands of miles away from my country. God was birthing a love for these people deep within my soul,  and soon it would lead to more than just visiting them and keeping them in my prayers. I felt a tug in my spirit to allow God to use me to bring restoration to the people. Their land had suffered a deadly earthquake, leaving a number of people homeless, and many children orphans. I could see the neglect that children suffered in the streets despite having parents/parent. Furthermore, I could feel the oppression in the nation as a result of the overwhelming idolotry. These people needed Jesus. And what better way to start than with the children. The idea to open a home for neglected children, came after seeking God for direction and talking with the pastor who was hosting me in Nepal. It seemed like such a small place to start considering the great need, nonetheless I felt this was God's will and I knew He would provide. 

Garden of Hope is a ministry that is dedicated to housing children who are living on the streets, neglected, or otherwise orphaned. They will be given shelter, food, education, love, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. The funds that we receive will go 100% to keeping the ministry standing, including buying daily needs for the children, paying the house mothers, paying the rent, and building the future and permant home of Garden of Hope. 

So far the minimum monthly expense has been $1,000. We are asking for monthly sponsors of $35 to support the ministry's maintainment.
