Gap funding for doctor and hospital bills

Hi, I'm Johnathan and pictured is my buddy Tiago. I'm 63 and going through process of starting social security and seeking travel work. Work is likely to come across but it's been 2 months, it seems no one us hiring a 63 year old.

In about a month, I'm falling through the cracks. My medical bills will sink my bank account. If that gets closed, not even the social security will have anyplace to go.

Now, most likely I'll scare up work somewhere. I got laid off unexpectedly, and by circumstances can't obtain an address: complicated USPS regulations, new and unexpected. If I can raise some funds to cover my bills, I can obtain a private post box if work still isn't coming through.

My doctor is driving me crazy with calls to come have new cancer tests. I don't expect to be able to afford the scope he wants to do, but he'll be satisfied if I can just get there and do an ultrasound and blood tests for now. It's 300 miles, and in my Smart car I can get there and back for 40 dollars, he'll bill me but once either work or my social security application is finished I can swing that.
